Meditate at the beach

Practicing mindfulness allows the intensity within the mind and body to become balanced resulting in a decrease of stress levels and increased focus. Additionally, long term stress response generates an increase in the stress hormone cortisol. The continued activation of this hormone creates a negative impact on the balance within the body and mind. The bodies reaction to this can vary from mild to moderate health issues. Applying any form of mindfulness decreases these high risk issues and has the ability to retrain the bodies response to stress decreasing the intense stress response. Forms of mindfulness include meditation, focused breathing, yoga, journaling, and present-focused awareness.
